The RIANA SRNA Anchor Fund in partnership with the Rhode Island Association of Nurse Anesthetists are proud to announce the offering of two RIANA ANCHOR SCHOLARSHIPS. Each scholarship in the amount of $1500.00 will be rewarded to two student registered nurse anesthetists that demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the future of nurse anesthesia both locally and nationally. These scholarships. celebrate students who go beyond academic achievement by showing dedication to wellness, service, advocacy, mentorship and involvement with their profession and communities.

Recipients embody the qualities that strengthen and advance nurse anesthesia - integrity, resilience, compassion, collaboration, and a willingness to lead. Whether through supporting their classmates, promoting wellness, participating in professional organizations, serving their communities, or advocating for the profession, these students demonstrate the potential to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

The RIANA ANCHOR SCHOLARSHIPS will be awarded based on academic achievement, leadership, wellness initiatives and involvement in local and national professional organizations in an effort to promote and protect the future of nurse anesthetists.. The selection of recipients will be determined by the Anchor Fund Board of Directors including the Scholarship Director, as well as the current President of the RIANA Board of Directors.

APPLICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE August 16. Deadline to apply will be October 9th. Scholarship will be awarded during the annual RIANA Business Meeting , date and time TBA.
